With over half a century of caring, Norse Home has developed a wide range of services and amenities that make us one of Seattle’s premier senior housing communities.
High atop Seattle’s Phinney Ridge, Norse Home not only offers incredible views in all directions, but also boasts some impressive neighbors. We’re located directly across the street from the internationally renowned Woodland Park Zoo. We also offer easy access to downtown Seattle and surrounding neighborhoods like Ballard, Fremont, and Greenwood. We’re a convenient shuttle ride away from shopping, light rail service, Golden Gardens, and all that Seattle has to offer.
Sitting down for a meal with friends is a long-honored tradition at Norse Home. During all three mealtimes, residents can discuss or reminisce with the other friendly faces seated at their table. Our wait staff serves our daily featured meals directly to our residents’ tables while offering attentive service and fresh alternatives to meet any food preferences. Curious? Norse Home provides four different dining room atmospheres for our residents and their guests. Our spacious main dining room offers the perfect venue to enjoy a meal, or our weekly Happy Hour. Our easily accessible second and third floor dining rooms allow our assisted living residents to eat their meals with our nursing staff standing by for any assistance. Residents are welcomed to host their family and friends in our elegant private dining room.
Exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Norse Home’s Fitness Assistants help residents to safely and effectively follow doctor instructed exercise plans to promote strength, mobility, balance, and safety.
Enhancing well-being, slowing physical decline, and improving overall health are the mission of Norse Home’s Health and Wellness Center. The Wellness Center’s Nurse coordinates all in-house treatments with contract care providers and offers holistic support of our residents’ health.
